Myth?

Jack Nicholson, has to be one of the most prolific Hollywood actors of all time. He’s got that swagger that just can't be taught. Jack Nicholson has managed to receive oscar nominations for every decade since the 60’s, but still managed to volunteer as a fire fighter and party like an animal. The man who made sun glasses indoor popular, was probably one of the luckiest guys from the 70’s with his own secret tunnel from his house to the Playboy mansion. How many guys would of paid to have a tunnel to keep the Playboy bunnies warm?

Playboy was quoted; “One of our editors was in the office archives pulling photos for a feature set to run on Hugh Hefner’s birthday. He found some Polaroids from 1977 that showed a large excavation project at The Mansion. We asked the new general MANAGER at The Mansion about these photos. He said, very matter-of-factly, “that’s probably when they built the tunnels in the 70's."

So, according this blueprint, tunnels were built to the homes of “Mr. J. Nicholson,” “Mr. W. Beatty,” “Mr. K. Douglas” and “Mr. J. Caan.” We’ll go ahead and assume they’re talking about Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty, Kirk Douglas and James Caan – all of whom lived near the Playboy Mansion during the late 1970s and early 1980s. There are no dates on the architectural schematics, but the dates on the Polaroids were from 1977”

In case you were wondering, The Playboy Mansion is the only private residence in LA with a fireworks license, a zookeeping license and a rumoured secret room looking into the famous Grotto pool, but an underground tunnel providing celebrities with a clandestine route to parties like the one Jack used, is still to be determined. Either way, tunnel or no tunnel, we're sure Jack had some great nights over at the Playboy mansion with the bunnies. I mean do you blame him?
